Amarissa was very stable, with great footwork and a solid game, and put great pressure on Austrian Elena Karner from the beginning. Karner never got time to settle down and show her fierce and consistent game we had witnessed throughout the week.
Elena Karner made a powerful arrival to this year’s final. However it was not her day on Centre Court with live TV broadcast, line judges and ball boys, not to mention a very difficult opponent.
Amarissa was shining like a star after the final and was so happy with her biggest career title so far. – Amazing week, amazing tournament – thank you!
