Russia starts 2017 with back to back category 1 events. After the Christmas Cup it was Kremlin Cup in Moscow.

In the girls draw Russian was in total domination with 7 out of 8 players in quarterfinals from the homecountry. After a dissapointying exit in Christams Cup, number 1 seed Oksana Selekhmeteva was back at her best and winning the title.

In final she beat Anna Shekanskaya 6-1, 7-5. Anna had a big win in quarters beating no 2 seed Maria Bondarenko

In the boys draw, the homecountry also was dominating the in number of players but the international players did better and only 2 russians made the quarters.

French player Max Westphal won this event beating canadian Maxine St Hilaire.
