Greece’s Stefanos Tsitsipas has returned to the Royal Tennis Hall for Intrum Stockholm Open. His last visit to Stockholm was in 2011 and 2012 when Tsitsipas competed in Kungens Kanna.

Tsitsipas is the youngest player ranked in the top 20 by the ATP and enters the competition ranked as #15 in the world. He comes from a tennis family where his mother was a professional player in the WTA-tour and Tsitsipas father was a tennis coach. His parents introduced him to the sport at the age of three. During his junior years Tsitsipas was ranked number one in the world and he was the first Greek boy to win a junior Grand Slam by triumphing in 2016 Wimbledon boys’ doubles event.

Tsitsipas won his first ATP match in the end of 2017 and this year he has reached two ATP finals including the 1000-tournament in Toronto where he became the youngest player to defeat four top ten opponents in a single tournament.
