The first entry list for Kungens Kanna and Drottningens Pris is now official. As always, Europe’s absolute top juniors gather alongside players from around the world to compete for the titles.
Kungens Kanna and Drottningens Pris are among the highest-ranked tournaments on the Tennis Europe Junior Tour, and are thus one of only six events to hold the prestigious Super Category status. The level of the entered players is high, with several of Europe’s top 20 juniors already registered, particularly on the boys’ side.
From a Swedish perspective, there is extra reason to follow the tournament with keen interest. Sweden currently boasts two highly ranked 14-year-old juniors. Enzo Brito from Skåne is an intense and determined player, fully committed to his tennis. With a ranking within Europe’s top 20, it will be exciting to see what he can achieve at the Royal Tennis Hall. On the girls’ side, Vega Bontin is the highest-ranked Swedish player. Last year, she delivered an impressive performance in the Drottningens Pris, and expectations are high for this year’s edition.
Behind Enzo and Vega is, as always, a broad group of ambitious Swedish juniors. Many of them have limited experience against the European elite but, through this home tournament, gain a valuable opportunity to test their skills against top international competition. This is both inspiring and highly beneficial for their development. In addition to the directly qualified players, a number of wild cards will also be awarded on both the girls’ and boys’ sides, giving further Swedish players the chance to compete at the very highest international level.
The 2026 Kungens Kanna and Drottningens Pris will be held at the Royal Tennis Hall from 21st of February to 1st of March.
The official entry list will be finalized after the last withdrawal date on 10th of February.
