The Russian Anna Blinkova has had a good streak up until the WTA Tour was put on hold. During 2019 she reached her first two WTA semi-finals of her career, at Guangzhou and Luxembourg.
Blinkova visited Stockholm and Drottningens Pris in 2012. She was seeded #9 and made it to the quarter-finals where she lost to Viktoria Bardarova from Bulgaria. She also participated in doubles with Vera Lapko, Belarus.
