With all Junior Tour events suspended until the week of July 13th, Tennis Europe has announced that the ranking system for players aged 14 and 16 will be frozen during this period.
The most recent rankings were published on March 17th, and included points from several events that were unfinished. The rankings will not be updated again until the Tennis Europe Junior Tour resumes.
Kungens Kanna & Drottningens Pris was one of the last tournaments to be completed before the lockdown and the two finalists in Kungens Kanna, Turkey’s Atakan Karahan and Martin Landaluce from Spain, are in the top positions of the Tennis Europe Ranking for U14 Boys, and will maintain so during the suspension.
