Throughout the day, we had the privilege of witnessing eight high-level singles quarterfinals and four exceptionally well-contested doubles semifinals. As play concluded, it became clear which players had advanced to the singles semifinals and which pairs had secured their places in the doubles finals.

The girls’ quarterfinals opened today’s programme on Courts 1 through 4, setting a high standard from the very first ball. Among the featured players was Sweden’s Vega Bontin of Helsingborgs TK, who demonstrated both courage and resilience as she recovered from a set deficit to force a deciding third set. Despite a spirited comeback and strong support from the home crowd, she was ultimately defeated by top seed Eva Maria Bulai of Romania.

Also advancing to the semifinals is Mariia Kocherzhenko of Ukraine, who secured her place with a straight-sets victory. Beata Maresova of the Czech Republic delivered a commanding performance, conceding just one game in a convincing 6–1, 6–0 win. The final semifinal spot was claimed by Italy’s Giulia Luchetti. In addition, Luchetti has qualified for the doubles final alongside compatriot Giorgia Lanza, underlining both her impressive consistency and physical capacity throughout the week.

On the boys’ side, the drama was equally evident. Great Britain’s Liam Sharkey continued his strong run, overcoming Sweden’s Enzo Brito in a well-executed encounter. Luis Bernardo Saraiva of Portugal defeated Finland’s Adam Napari, while Yanru Li of China earned a solid victory over Austria’s Lionel Freissnegg. Martin Adamca of Slovakia also secured a notable win against Austria’s Luca Sageder to book his place in the semifinals. Furthermore, Adamca remains in title contention in doubles, having reached the final together with compatriot Matteo Sanson.

In the boys’ doubles, the Great Britain pair Frederick Fabricius and Oskar Laskowski advanced to the final following an impressive semifinal performance.

A decisive day now awaits at the Royal Tennis Hall. Tomorrow, the singles semifinals will be contested, and the doubles titles will be decided on both the boys’ and girls’ sides.
