On Saturday, the doubles final decided the winner of this year’s Peter Wallenberg’s Honorary Prize.
It was, unfortunately, one-way traffic; tomorrow’s finalists were just too strong. The top-seeded couple Atakan Karahan / Martin Landaluce dominated the match from start to finish.
The Italian couple Federico Cina / Andrea de Marchi had shown high energy and smart tennis on court until the final match. But today they were given nothing, heavy and powerful shots with smart volleying gave Karahan and Landaluce the doubles victory.
