– We know the tournament attracts many of the worlds top junior players. The tournament means a lot to them and many of our winners move on to become professional players on the ATP- and WTA tours. The Royal Tennis Hall has a qualified and experienced team and we have the ambition to make this tournament the premier junior tennis event in Europe. We’re looking forward to welcoming players, coaches and crowd to this years event says Joe Beaton, Tournament Director to kungenskanna.com

Kungens Kanna is one of the longest running tennis tournaments in history. It was first played in 1901 as a handicap tournament where juniors could compete with established players. 1908 the tournament had the same winner as Wimbledon, Arthur W. Gore. In 1971 Björn Borg won Kungens Kanna.
